INTRODUCTION
The exhibition, born from the collaboration between the Mart and the Luigi Rovati Foundation that will host the Milanese stage of this exhibition project, tells the story of the rediscovery of the Etruscan civilization during the twentieth century. A passion that went well beyond the specialized field of archaeology and involved painters, sculptors and artisans who were inspired by the art of the ancient Italic people.
